Our Mental Health Matters

We can all say 2020 has been a year that our eyes have been WIDE OPEN.

We need to make sure that we are OK in all ways, the added pressure of children being at home with distance learning and working, the load can become very heavy and we start to drain our energy.

We all need to take a few hours to revamp our system, do not let anyone make you feel guilty for needing that alone time. If you are to your breaking point call your health care professional and ask for a appt for a counselor or therapist so that you can talk and vent.

Your family needs you to be 100 % healthy in all areas. During these times it is hard not knowing if you will be able to pay your rent/mortgage, put food on the table or even keep the lights on, this is why you need to keep balanced and that means your mental health, do not think anyone will label you as sick , we all have episodes that make us feel that way, do not worry it is normal.

What is not normal is you have feelings of hurting yourself or others in your surroundings. Feeling that you are not worthy in any way, that is when you need to get help, do not feel ashamed you would be amazed how many people get help.
